Piotr Romanow is one of the most experienced salsa instructors in Poland. He has been conducting regular classes since 2003. He cooperates with the best salsa schools in the country, in the meantime creating his own independent projects. He has performed regularly at many congresses in Poland and abroad. Currently, together with the star of this scene, Edyta Czagowiec, he leads the Mambo Team, which, combining professionals and amateurs, returns in its shows to the best traditions of dancing salsa in pairs.
DJ Mayer is known to regulars of the capital’s salsa clubs as a music presenter. In this role he hosted on the most important local events (including El Sol Salsa Festival, Bachaturo, Salsa Spring Break, 3City Social Experience, Mambito).
Together with DJ Oso Blanco, since 2012 he has been creating Fiesta En La Playa, a unique series of dance events taking place in the summer on the Vistula beach in Warsaw.
Piotr actively supports the development of the Polish salsa scene, he was one of the creators and organizer the first four editions of the Warsaw Salsa Festival, one of the largest congresses of its kind events in Europe. He was also the originator and animator of the iconic Warsaw events series UFF Gallery.
To gain more knowledge about the salsa phenomenon, Piotr studied at the Study Center Latin American Studies and at the Institute of Iberian and Ibero-American Studies of the University of Warsaw. Thanks to this, like few people, he is able to share his knowledge of music and dance also in terms of history and culture.
As an instructor, he considers connection important in developing comprehensive dance skills effort and commitment during training with party fun and madness.
